About World of Dice- offering unique collect of dice earrings, D20 necklaces and more
Our love of dice started in college when we played our first Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I will never forget our trip to the local comic book store in Stockton, CA to get our first set of dice. I got an opaque green dice set that seemed to work with me only when they felt like it. As a result future dice shopping trips were a lot longer because I actually tested out my dice in advance (a scene straight out of SubCulture).
It soon became a tradition to get our newest party members there very own set dice (if not solely so that they would stop blaming me and my dice when they critically failed). But each new trip to the comic book store usually resulted in another set of dice following me home. This tradition has followed us from Stockton, CA where we attended the University of the Pacific to our house in Parker, CO.
World of Dice was founded in 2009 after myself and my husband Matt, purchased a beer pitcher full of dice at a local gaming convention. In all fairness Matt was the one who could not resist the temptation of Chessex's giant bin of dice. After some pleading and well thought out arguments, Matt finally made the case that he did in fact need 200+ random dice. In an effort to prove that buying a beer pitch full of dice was in fact a worthwhile purchase, Matt made me a pair of D4 earrings and thus World of Dice was born.
World of Dice can be found at Gaming, SciFi and Anime conventions in the Denver. You can usually find me wearing my favorite D20 necklace. If you know of any great conventions in the greater Denver area that you think we should attend, let us know. While we were are currently only attending local conventions we do ship worldwide.
Thank you for your time and interest in World of Dice if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@worldofdice.com. Sincerely, Mindy Galon Owner of World of Dice
Personally I am glad I never ran into one of these (my cleric had a thing about spiders and this one would have been the size of a house) o.O
Follow us on Facebook to stay in the loop on up coming conventions, new dice colors, our growing line of dice jewelry, dice cufflinks, critically awesome geek buttons. Plus see photos from our conventions, and get the scoop on World of Dice promotions.
