Time for a classic D&D snack
As everyone starts to gather around the table to start up a Dungeons and Dragons session, you bravely enter the kitchen in a quest for a great snack. After a few failed spot and search checks you decide to ask your fellow adventures where are the Cheetos?
Only to discover they have already started the gaming session without you. So the only real assistance you get is a couple two or three word answers. Once you have discovered the Cheetos' secret lair, you decided to hunt down the elusive Mountain Dew as well.
While everyone is rolling their dice in a quest for adventure, you stop to ask your fellow adventures if your character is there too. But no instead of being in the room to watch the so called sorcerer of the light foolishly cast magic missile at the darkness, your toon is standing outside the tavern.
But hey if they want to go fight ogres without you and your dagger of ogre slaying, which does an impressive +9 against ogres then why not just roll to see if you are getting drunk. Then once completely intoxicated try searching the bar for girls, who knows maybe your character might score, that will teach them for leaving without you.
