Job's not done til we're back on Serenity
In 2517 we were given an insight into lives on Serenity, named after the Battle of Serenity Valley which was lost during the war against the Alliance. Serenity may not look like much but as Kaylee would say she'll fool ya.
After losing the Unification War against the Alliance Mal and his crew live on the outskirts of the core Alliance planets. Mal and Zoe put together a motley crew including the ship's pilot Wash, "Public Relations" specialist Jayne and the ever bubbly ship's mechanic Kaylee. Serenity also picks up a Sheppard and two fugitives looking to avoid the Alliance at all costs. Not to mention a certified companion, Inara, who is renting one of the two shuttles on board. Between the smuggling jobs, runs with the Alliance and a constant attempt to avoid the reavers, Serenity is the home that they all share.
